The Season has now come to an end of Outdoor MX series; I would be lying to you guys if I were to say that I was happy about that. This past Outdoor Season rates among one of my best, not just because of my overall at the series end but because of the turn around I feel I have made. It wasn?t easy coming back home from Europe last year to nothing here in the states but obviously I made the right decision! Many of you already know the 2 most important people that made this season possible but I again want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Those 2 are Grant Langston and Andy Stacy at Tuf Powersports. Without those 2 guys this season would not have been, so my hat is off to them and I appreciate everything that they have done for not only me but my Wife as well.

Now onto Steel City. With the new changes to the track I was pretty excited to get out and try out the new sections of the track. Both practices on Saturday went really well and ended the day well inside the top 10 in overall times. Going into Sunday I had some added fuel with the help of reading some things on the internet and also some that were said but not intended to be negative in anyway but I wanted to keep improving even if it was the last race of the year for me. First Moto I started out just outside the top 10 but with the way the track was, passing wasn?t too easy on us. I made my way past quite a few guys and looked up and had Shorty right in front of me with a handful of laps remaining, as I closed in I got a little anxious and tried making a pass that was basically impossible unless I were James or Ricky. So I blew the corner and went off the track but had nowhere else to enter so I entered at the end of the Pro section and gave more than enough time back to Andrew. I ended up 6th for the Moto but not happy with the mistake I had made. Second Moto I made my patented start outside the top 20 and began pushing towards the front. For some odd reason they decided to rip the blue grooved sections and water them so it turned into an Ice Skating ring!! Needless to say I was not too happy about it nor was I the only one that wasn?t. By Moto?s end I was 9th but not happy what so ever about the way I had rode the final Moto of the year. I ended the series 9th in points, not exactly where I wanted but I accomplished my goal I set out for in the beginning and that was a top 10 and I would be more than happy with that.

Here we are a few weeks now after the Seasons ending Moto and there are still a lot of things up in the air not only for myself but for quite a few others as well. Like I have said before it would be great to continue on with Yamaha but I can not make them decide on who they want and who they may keep, all I know is that I feel I rode very well under the Factory tent even when things got bad I kept moving forward and thinking positive. This year for me was a very gratifying year not only to be back racing but to be back up front where I had been absent from the past few years. Thanks you to all of those who have supported me from the beginning and also to the new fans I feel that I have gained this year. Hopefully I will have something good to say in the next coming weeks and I will keep all of you updated on what is going on.
